Literacy Forward offers training, professional development, curriculum development, and other supportive services for literacy programs and instructors to improve the quality of instruction. Originally developed in 2008 for the Literacy Coalition’s network of Central Texas literacy service provider agencies, Literacy Forward has expanded to work with programs nationwide.
This program has been hailed by ProLiteracy as the nation’s first comprehensive, research-based training system for adult basic literacy and English language instruction, Literacy Forward was developed in collaboration with the foremost experts in the field.
