We envision a community that is 100 percent literate, employable and engaged.
We embed high-quality, proven programming in the business, education and workforce sectors outside of the K-12 system to end the intergenerational cycle of poverty and illiteracy. Programs and services are designed to deepen the impact of local nonprofits, strengthen the business workforce and build stronger communities.
Our three program areas help:
- Strengthen today’s workforce through Adult Education and workforce development
- Increase school readiness through early-literacy and parenting education
- Improve the literacy service delivery system through curriculum development and training and by funneling resources and best practices to strengthen Central Texas’ network of programs
