English Forward and Adult Basic Literacy Forward Instructor Training
Several times a year, the Literacy Coalition of Central Texas provides the English Forward Instructor Training for ESL instructors and the Adult Basic Literacy Forward Instructor Training for instructors teaching Adult Basic Education. To learn more or to register, click here.

All instructors that complete the English Forward Instructor Training get access to the Literacy Forward Web Portal. The web portal contains over 80 lessons for the ESL classroom, Supplemental Materials for the classroom, Teaching Tips, Webinars, and more! LINCS (Literacy Information and Communication System)
The LINCS Resource Collection provides free online access to high-quality, evidence-based, vetted materials to help adult education practitioners and state and local staff improve programs, services, instruction, and teacher quality.
ProLiteracy Education Network
ProLiteracy Education Network is a comprehensive collection of online courses and resources for adult literacy and ESOL instructors, program staff, trainers, and adult learners.
- ProLiteracy Education Network helps instructors learn new techniques and strategies for teaching reading, writing, math, citizenship, and basic life skills.
- It offers opportunities for program managers to learn how to improve or expand their services.
- It offers trainers online courses and other resources they can incorporate into their pre-service and in-service tutor training.
