Introduction to the Beginning Curriculum
The Introduction is a comprehensive guide to the Beginning English Forward Curriculum and its underlying principles. It includes an outline of the ESL by Design Lesson Flow, definitions of key vocabulary used in the curriculum, a list of all realia and materials used in the lessons, and an orientation to the lesson organization. The orientation is made up of charts outlining the strategies, objectives, language focus, and vocabulary in each lesson.
