We can’t do our work without you! Our volunteers help us make a big impact in many ways.

 

ONGOING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

 

LEARNING CENTER TUTOR

Assist students to reach their goals of obtaining a High School Equivalency certificate and learn vital math and reading skills by tutoring them in math English, social studies, and science. Learn more about The Learning Center.

Time commitment: 1-3 hours per week day or evening, ongoing

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Assist communications with development of marketing materials  or development of small graphics.

Time commitment: 2-4 hours per month

 

ONE-TIME VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

PALS CLASSROOM MATERIAL PREPARATION

Assemble children’s classroom crafts and packets. Volunteer anytime at our office our yours – this is a great group activity!

Time commitment: 2-4 hours 

EVENT VOLUNTEER: PARENTS AND LITTLE SCHOLARS (PALS) GRADUATION

Volunteer at PALS biannual graduation event by helping with set-up, break-down, greeting and directing guests, and assisting with food tables. PALS graduations occur in May and December. Learn more about PALS.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required. Free lunch reception!

Time commitment: 5-6 hours on day of the event

EVENT VOLUNTEER: READING BETWEEN THE WINES 

Volunteers at our signature event help with set-up, break-down, check-in, check-out, greeting our guests and assisting with the silent and live auction. 

Time commitment: 3-4 hours from noon to midnight during the day of the event

THE LEARNING CENTER GRADUATION EVENT PHOTOGRAPHER 

Help us by photographing The Learning Center’s graduation.

Time commitment: 2-4 hours in the evening
