Happy Hispanic Heritage Month from The Literacy Coalition!
Today we’re highlighting Board Member Tiffany Fernandez alongside her family. As a mother of two, Tiffany plans to pass on the traditions and influential aspects of her Hispanic culture to her children. She says her passion, drive, faith, and love for family come from her Mexican culture!
“My Hispanic heritage has been an integral part of who I am and how I was raised. Some of my favorite traditions growing up were making luminarias for Las Posadas, cooking enchiladas with my family in the kitchen, and laughing at our big family gatherings. “
