We are thrilled to announce that we are a finalist for Impact Austin’s Health & Well-Being Fall Grant!

Recently we hosted a group of Impact Austin grant committee volunteers to share more about how our Parents and Little Scholars program is expanding to provide dual-gen parenting and school-readiness services, customized English as a Second Language instruction for parents, and job coaching.

Impact Austin is an Austin-based women’s collective giving organization, funding Central Texas nonprofits that provide services in Bastrop, Hays, Travis, and Williamson counties. Impact Austin invites nonprofits to request funding for programs, capacity-building initiatives, or both. Applications for fall funding were open from July 8 to August 2, and 56 proposals were received. Grant Review Committees are comprised of 47 Impact Austin members, including co-chairs and advisors. Grants totaling $188,400 will be awarded on November 15 at the Impact Austin Town Hall Meeting.

For the Health and Well-Being Grant, 35 applications were initially reviewed, 6 underwent deep-dive review, and 3 had site visits. 2 organizations advanced to the finalist stage and we are honored to be one of them.

Congratulations to the other finalists for both the Equity and Health & Well-Being Grants – The Other Ones Foundation, AVANCE Austin, and Girlstart. What great company to be in as we all make a positive impact on our community with the support of the amazing women philanthropists at Impact Austin!
